*THERE IS ONLY ONE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA*

“If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are.” Mother Teresa “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” – Mae West. May I begin by first appreciating all who stood by me through my moment of travail/triumph. Your fervid prayers, unshakable support and steadfast solidarity remain priceless assets that I am certain will always come through on this arduous path of leadership. For those who know me well, it remains evident that I do not label anyone as my enemy and I’m ready to work with any reasonable fellow at anytime to attain goals that are mutually beneficial and in the furtherance of the good of humanity. However, for those who’ve chosen the path of enmity against me, I leave them to contend with their fears for I am one with the wind… “Qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum”. I therefore use this medium to call on all Nigerian youths to remain steadfast in the pursuit of moving our energies from potentials to productivity. Never let down your guard and remain undaunted as we March on towards a greater Nigeria that allows for the self actualization of a greater percentage of our youth. Be assured that I am not distracted in discharging my duties neither am I discouraged. For trails are necessary ingredients in the crubicle of leadership preparation. I will keep serving and I’m certain we shall succeed together. To the NYCN family, this is no time for hypocrisy or sitting on the fence. Take your stand boldly, and I’ll not begrudge wither way you pitch your tent even if it’s against me. One thing is certain, *I KNOW WHO I AM* even in the darkest of moments and thus will not be moved by extraneous factors. I seize this medium again to thank all who have sacrificially championed the quest for justice on my behalf particularly in the recent sordid episode. My gratitude is profuse and my indebtedness to you, eternal. Finally, I’ll not spare this advice from my peers and those coming behind, *”irrespective of the wickedness of the world, make some effort to be good/kind; for the seeds you sow today are the fruits you reap tomorrow”.* Rest assured that the Leadership odyssey continues unimpeded, but not even on a greater frequency. We shall succeed together!
