INVITATION TO THE NATIONAL YOUTH ECONOMIC SUMMIT

In commemoration of the 2021 National Youth Day and the commencement of the Africa Youth Month, the National Youth Council of Nigeria has deemed it of prime importance to convene the National Youth Economic Summit.

There is no gainsaying the fact that we are faced with a plethora of challenges at this point in time as a nation. A clear characteristic of our challenges will easily reveal that the youth are the victims of these, the perpetrators of most the crimes that birth the challenges and yet the final key in the solution puzzle to address the challenges. It has thus become highly imperative that the youth rise up with a view to proffering failsafe solutions to our national problems.

In the light of the afore stated, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (National Headquarters) herein invites all State Chapter Executives of the NYCN, Heads/Leaders of Youth Organizations, and all other youth focused private/government bodies to this all important event.

The prime objective is to assess the youth intervention programs/projects of government with a view to utilizing them as springboards for the birthing of innovative youth enterprises that can trigger increased national productivity and spur economic growth. Our voices count in ensuring accountability and that the good intentions of the respective projects/programs are not deviated from.
